Jo Jo and Lawrence, (the LJ of the Chinese Cuisine
on Fareham's diverse West Street), are the owners
of this friendly, attractive restaurant, the effervescent
Jo Jo in charge of front of house while Lawrence
mans the kitchen.
The list is the usual lengthy one with no less than
125 dishes plus various feasts, the Mongolian one
at £39 for two offering four starters and mains plus
its centrepiece, crispy Mongolian lamb.
LJ Chinese Cuisine is based in the heart of Fareham, Hampshire and Jojo is the life and soul of the business and the way it's run. This means not only do new customers turn up on a daily basis to sample the food, drink and hospitality after hearing such good feedback about this fabulous Chinese cuisine, but existing customers come back on a monthly, weekly and sometimes daily basis, only to be treated as part of the warm and friendly family that is LJ Chinese Cuisine.
LJ's will be undergoing a dramatic and wonderful refurbishment during July this year (2010), meaning this Chinese restaurant will be closed for 3 weeks during that month, but it will result in this Chinese restaurant being the talk of Fareham and all areas of Hampshire, boasting of its new separated areas of the restaurant. One being The Fun Area - In the new casual bar, secondly an All You Can Eat area - In the main restaurant, thirdly Private Dining - In the new private function area and last but not least, there will be a new area set a side for the LJ's Take Away.
This all means everyone wishing to come and dine in this Chinese restaurant, will have a chance to do so in the type of environment they wish to choose. So watch out for the reopening dates as it will be a first come first serve situation in this busy, warm and friendly Chinese delight. Also, coming soon, you'll be able to pick your take away food from an on line shop menu on this website (whilst this Chinese Restaurant is open or closed), pay for it through the secure payment system, state what time in the evening you'd like it ready by and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you, this means not only do the take away customers of LJ's get a first class service, but the customers who visit LJ's Chinese Cuisine get more devotion from the staff as this website will be taking the orders....details to follow.

We are open from 6.00pm to 11.30pm.
Sundays
Closed except if a special occasion falls on a Sunday. (Mothering Sunday, Valentines, Christmas and New year's Eve) etc. Please do not hesitate to call the restaurant to confirm.
Please Note
From July this year (2010), we will have separate areas in our restaurant due to us having a complete refurbishment.
